Hi,
I am going to Chicago for a couple of days in 3 weeks, I am so excited about the shopping. Firstly, is everything really cheap and which shops are the best for any named brands etc......we are staying on south michigan av but will be travelling to north??

No, everything is NOT really cheap, but it's a great place to just walk around and window shop. Last time I was there we walked around for hours and went into any store that looked interesting to us or where we needed to pick something up. Our visits included a Coach store (bought a wristlet) and a Walgreens (where I bought a cheap pair of Okabashi shoes so I would be more comfy!)...so you can see there is a huge range of options!
