if you dont mind travelling to brick lane (east london) they've got some nice vintage shops if you're into that.

Kings Road in Chelsea and High Street Kensington in Sloane Square are good for boutique and couture shops and are all within easy-to-reach distances. Regent's St and Bonds Street also have high-end designer stores. Notting Hill has countless little boutique stores. Enjoy.

I think Camden lock may be closed due to fire , Kings Road and Carnaby street are both great places , but jump on a train to Bluewater , its a great place with over 300 shops that sells most things and good eats as well.

New Bond Street off Oxford St (west of Oxford Circus) for some fabulous boutique-type shops - with fabulous prices to match and don't forget Regent Street running south from Oxford Circus to Piccadilly Circus. 'Fortnum & Mason' on Piccadilly (the road itself, running west from Piccadilly Circus) is a taste of old-fashioned English shopping - and their tea shop is mmmmmm. Harrods in Knightsbridge is another institution, albeit owned by a foreigner with the guts to take on the whole blessed British Establishment lol
Have a great time (keep your friends close and your purse closer still hehe)

Try Knightsbridge - Harrods and Harvey Nichols. There is also Sloane Street where you have all the major names like Chanel / Gucci / Hilfiger etc. The King's Road (nearest tube Sloane Square) is a nice street to wander down with some lovely shops. You can also try Old Bond Street for some couture shops and pop into Claridges for a cocktail after shopping.
