Going to shops. Although it may be tiring depending on how long you shop, it's better because you need to try on stuff before you buy it. Stacy London says so (: and so do I.

Depends on what I'm getting. If it's something I've gotten before, and I just need more or something, I totally do it online cos it's so much easier and often you can find better prices or get stuff in bulk online at places like Amazon.com. For clothes, it depends too. I love Victoria's Secret online b/c I know my size and their online selection is so much better. Shoe shopping online is great too, especially at places like http://www.solestruck.com/ where they offer free shipping and returns. Other clothes I have to try on in store though.

I check out the clothing online, but then buy in store. You can try the clothes on then and you won't have to pay P&P

It depends...if i have my kids or husband with me I prefer not to go to the shops LOL
But I can at least try the stuff on...
I'm an eBay addict, and have spent thousands on-line, and it's always a crapshoot when something arrives.
I can't usually send it back because I live in Italy and I buy from the UK or the US, and it costs bunches to return it...
But getting a "treat" in the post is great, and when it's right it's just awesome
