If it's "free", you should be skeptical. There are a lot of scams out there. Sometimes you have to buy a truckload of merchandise before you can get your "free" iPod or whatever they're offering. Sometimes they want your e-mail address so they can sell it to spammers. Be careful and read the fine print before you click, or you could be in for more than you bargained for.

Type 'student freebies' into Yahoo and you'll get some hits, although when you send off for the free stuff you'll be spamed.
