We need somewhere to park just outside, where we can get a train or tube in. Please help!

it will be cheaper if you park in north london or east london a lot cheaper, use the central line for oxford street (tottenham court road and oxford circus for regent street. both in zone 1 for travel, if you park in east london get the tube from liverpool street (central line). Loads of small carparks on waste bits of ground.

The best idea would be to park in the car park of an underground station, many of which are free on Sundays and take the tube. Canons Park, where I live, is free on Sunday and you can catch a Jubille line train to Bond Street (unless there is scheduled engineering work)

Impossible to answer your question without some clue as to where you are coming from. Make sure you bring loads of money with you though, where ever you're coming from!
Happy Christmas!

As you say you are driving down, I gather you are coming from the north. High Barnet is the end of the northern line and has a big car park but you only have to check with any tube station to find out what the car parking is like.

If you're coming in from the north then Arnos Grove station is probably your best bet.
Good car park, not too far into London that you'll get knackered by traffic, and central London is only 20 minutes away by tube.
If you're coming more from the west or north west then High Wycombe might be a good bet. On the M40, again a car park at the station, and about 45 minutes by train to Marylebone.
