I know I am probably barmy, but i love going prezzie shopping as near to Christmas as possible, well maybe the first or second week of December, simply because I love that festive feel, you know, Christmassy songs playing in shops, everyone in the festive mood etc,
I also never write my xmas cards until December either, as I love sitting in my living room with my Christmas tree lit up and my Glade "Mulled Wine" plug in airfreshener on, and writing them out then.
Is it just me? Or is anyone else like that?

Im the worst (or best depending on how you look at it) at Christmas time. I love it and everyone to do with it. I agree with you about the Christmassy feel. Love it , love it.

I'm like that. My favourite time is putting up the tree with the christmas music playing and a glass of sherry or two! You've made me feel all festive now!

Good for you. There's a lot of people who knock others that are enjoying themselves. Be as Christmassy as you like, its a GREAT time!

I'm more of a planner and prefer to do the shopping well in advance, but we don't wrap the presents until christmas eve, then my husband and I put on a cd and get merry.

I'd love to do that but time just seems to run away with me and I'd never get everything done

I used to be like that too. My sister used to say that my house was like santa's grotto. I've toned things down since then, but I still like my fibre optic Christmas tree. I have a young grand daughter and it's lovely seeing her wee face light up. Just watching her, reinforces my belief that Christmas is a very special time of year.
Remember Jesus is not just for Christmas - he's for life!

I like to shop on the internet. I often visit the following website. There is something especially for Christmas. And now they will give an extra gift so far as you buy anything. Join their "get the word out" promotion, you can get voucher for your purchase.

I love Christmas. Every year we over decorate our 7 foot tree. Baking. Crafts, family, friends Carols, presents my favorite. But a lot of my shopping is done on Boxing day the previous year. Boxing day is my second favorite holiday. I start shopping at 6 a.m. and don't get home until 6 p.m. This year my daughter joined me in this tradition. I love shopping. I love sales.
