I am a web designer so am able to do some work, but want to know which Shopping Cart system is best / easiest to install, with minimal start up costs.

Ideally it should be free or quite cheap.

Here's an add-on that works with Joomla..........

There are a couple of good "paid for" services like Actinic & Erol.

To be honest though, if you just need the checkout/shopping cart, then Paypal is probably your best option.
Customers don't need a paypal account to pay by card etc, and you don't need to find a merchant.
