i live in an area that mom and pop corner stores are Americana history and all that there is are convenient stores and oil company owned gas and shop places. when i was a kid in the 50's every neighborhood 3 or 4 corner delicatessens .and our neighbor hood had 1 owned by a 35 year old bachelor named JOE COSENTINO, who provided us with odd jobs so we always had some jingle in our pockets and also taught many of us to drive so we could make deliveries for him. he mentored us and gave us guidance when we were dealing with growing up issues. he truly was an asset to our neighborhood and will be etched in my memory forever.

Charlie............ that's not his real name (nobody knows what that is). He's Indian, and a very pleasant, hard-working, obliging, friendly bloke.... as is the whole family, who all live and work there
