No I've tried but have never been successful. There seems to be "professional" Freecyclers on there to me who are making a living out of it

Yes, I got a ladder and some books. But I've also given away a bunch of stuff such as a treadmill and a monitor.
Once you join you have to check your email constantly (i filter all my freecycle email into 1 folder) because you want to respond quickly to get the stuff!

Yes we have gained a 28inch flat screen tv, digi freeview box and two dvds for a friend who was moving into their first flat.
We have offered hundred of childrens toy including buggys.doll house, 2 x bikes, various games/ little tykes
2 lots of bunk beds,Rowing Machine, Multi Gym Etc Everything I dont need I advertise on freecycle.
There is alot of professional "Freecyclers" now but they are supposed to state they are trying to make money out of it.
I state in my offer these type of people need not apply. Then I gift to the emailer who uses manners and has a little story or genuine contact details.

ive got an almost new bread maker which i use a lot but the real bargain was getting rid of the bricks from my garden wall. they were big and heavy so it would have been hard for me to dump them but a free cycler snapped them up and away they went. giving is better than getting as far as i'm concerned .
