If they can get away with it, sure. Stay over isn't the same as living together. I don't see where a guy would be responsible for bills if he just stays over once in a while.

To me stay over is only one or two nights, I often stay over at my parents if I'm on a night out near by theirs and they dont ask for any money. Now if it was to be on a regular basis or he was to move in then yes he should contribute towards shopping and utility bills.
My daughter has friends to stay over and I wouldnt dream of charging them!!!

because some men suck!!! and they don't deserve to have a girfriend.. not to mention that they are also cheap.. the worse thing in a guy is being a cheap one and live off a girl's job ... God how i hate such men.. wish u don't get stuck with such a guy... all the luck

My boyfriend stays over at my place all the time, but before he started doing it, I laid down the rules to him. *IF* you stay here, you will contribute to the electricity and the cable bill since you love to watch tv here. *IF* you stay here, you will help with the groceries. He's gladly helped from day #1.
