I've done most of my shopping throughout the year, picking up some decent things from the sales. I've bought a ton of stuff from boots. They're doing a great 3 for 2 range and it covers all ages. I've given my husband a holiday. My mum shawl, pj's slippers, a heat massage pad. Nothing for dad, but it's going to be shirt, tie, trousers. Boring, I know, but I've gone through everything else. Mostly cds, dvds, smellies, and clothes.

Gift certificates!!!I know where they all like to shop, I know a gift certificate seems impersonal, however, it gives people(my family and my peeps who are close to me) the freedom to get what they really want. I don't like surprises, I want what I want, if they're gonna get me something, if I don't like it, I'm very outspoken, I will let them know, that's not ungrateful, that's just practical, you know? I work too hard for my money, I'm not gonna waste it getting someone something they really don't want or need, and I wouldn't want to waste anyone else's' money, either. When I was little, everybody wanted to give me dolls, dresses, and pink stuff, like that's all there is to being a girl, I wanted books, stationery,my own tools, a basketball(yes, I can hoop!), I NEVER got what I asked for, until I became an adult!!! Get them some gift certificates to their favorite place to shop, or eat, whatever, I think the best gift doesn't always need to be a surprise!!!
