I can't stand seeing Christmas stuff in stores until after Thanksgiving, it gets earlier and earlier each year; it's greed.

I am with the others... at least hold up the stocking until after Halloween!!!
I personally prefer to start getting in the spirit round mid November, just after my birthday. Before you know it, with the current maddness the pre-christmas sales will begin January second in a few more years.

I shall join you in your quest camel herder!
Lol. I agree. All I'm trying to do is enjoy the last bit of summer we have left, but instead, I walk into my local tesco for a crisp bottle of vino, only to be offered buy one get one free on Barbie Advent Calendars.
And with regards to boxing day - I totally agree. Boxing day is for nursing hangovers, left over turkey and enjoying crap TV, it shouldn't be about the shops trying to make yet MORE money.
great Q.
