all in one swoop - about a week before. ive started looking out for things and have been adding a pack of xmas cards or paper to the weekly shop just to spread the cost. i never get to bogged down in it all tho!

i like being stressed so i leave it all at the last minute. that way i dont have a choice with buying the most sought after toys as they are all gone. cheapskate, i know! but hey i like to save too!
food wise i do it a week before, also get my turkey from a factory nearby as they are cheaper than going through the supermarket.

Not a thing yet. Don't worry about food, live on my own and will go to family... Buy presents in one shopping trip... Mainly perfumes for the ladies and aftershaves for the men,. .Did this last year... All bought in one shop. Good stuff they wouldn't normally buy themselves. Younger boys mainly buy games for PS3 or similar.

I can't believe the number of people on here who have NOT even started their's yet!! I FINISHED mine on 2nd January - SERIOUSLY.
As for food shopping I will get the turkey on the morning of 24th December - as my local butcher will open early that day - fresh stuff - vegetables and fruit - will also be bought early on 24th December. Everything else will be bought 1st December.
