I want to be healthier and eventually lose weight. I have no time to buy and prepare healthy things. I would like to know some quick and healthy ideas, maybe smoothies for the blender?
Also, I get home late and end up eating late, not sleeping well and being tired to get up earlier and get on the treadmill in the morning. How do I break this routine?
Also, do you know any good workout DVDs? Thank, I promise 10 points!!!
I have wii, it bores me. I want a workout DVD or smth like that would encourage you while you are on the treadmill.
I like treadmill, I have it at home. My problem is time. In the morning I dont get enough sleep and I know I wont get on it and at night I am too tired obviously... These are not excuses, it is a fact.
Kauila, as I said before - these are not excuses, some people work harder than others you know. I work 12 hours and drive 100 km a day.
As far as packing up your food, it is a good idea, but hardly chicken cooked on Monday and eaten on a Friday is healthy...
Yes, health is important and that is why I am asking these questions, but I am not going to quit work that I love and that brings me money just to be able to cook things. There must be another way. Or is it NOT possible to be thin and rich???

join the tesco healthy eating website. they show you quick meals you ca make in under 10 minutes that are healthy, also ,ake some time to do something you enjoy. i put aside two hours each week to go ice skating, which can burn up to 400 cals per hour. consider it. the treadmill is boring you need something you want to do andsomethin that will motivate. something that feels more like fun and not exercise.
ok evewry time you go on the treadmill, treat yourself to a little somethng. not food wise unless its healthy. say to yourself ill do hlf an hour treadmill and buy myself a magazine or something you like.

I normall pack fresh fruits and vegetables. Yogurts are good so are lowfat cheese and milk products. Eat egg whites as opposed to whole eggs. Also many places offer the lean cuisine and weight watchers tv dinners they prove to be quite filling.

Go for a quick 10-20 minute walk during your lunch break. And you know how smokers always go for a 5-min smoke? Go for a 5 min walk.
For work-out DVD's, check out Netflix. That way, when you get bored of it, you can try another one. Or if you don't like it, it doesn't matter. Even the best work-out gets monotonous and change really helps.
As for healhy diets, smoothies can be good depending on how you make them. But the prep and clean-up can be annoying. Buy salads in a bag. Frozen fruit for your smoothie. Consider clear soups (not cream) that will make you feel full but has less calories than a solid meal.

Now say the same thing about saving money. I don't have time to look for things that are cheaper, I can't be bothered with savings accounts, and I don't look at how much money I have at the end of the month...but I want more money...what do I do?
Without addressing some of your major obstacles above, your health is always going to suffer. My best advice would be find some time at the beginning of each week to do a big cooking session where you cook 20 chicken breasts, cut up vegetables, pack lots of berries and fruits into smaller serving sizes and bundle it all together into food packages for each day so that you have 3 meals and 3 snacks packed for each day.
Best workout DVD on the market right now is the P-90X

Tescos have LOADS of "healthy living" ready meals.. they're all really nice- Never had microwave meals so good actually. They are on 3 for 2 atm.
Also, when you get hungry in between meals, snack on fruit.. even though it's the last thing you will fancy- you'll feel much better if you fill up on grapes and apples and bananas.

What do you do all day that you're too busy to do anything normal?
You must make your health a priority. These "facts" are useless if you have no motivation to change them.
EDIT:
It is only possible to be "thin and rich" if you have a million people doing all the work for you, and a trainer who comes to you and makes you work out and a nutritionist to plan your meals and cook for you.
You are not rich. I don't care how much money you're making. Your values are shot to hell and you will die young and overworked.
Sorry to burst your little workaholic bubble, but CALM DOWN. Money isn't everything. If you don't have time for yourself, how can you possibly have any time for anything else?

Just slow down.No one should be hurried that much. You're going to end up with a heart attack. Check your priorities.

when you go to the grocery store, only buy healthy things so they are already in the house...and get enough food for the entire week so you don't have to go everyday.
Do the treadmill at the end of the day instead of in the morning.
A good workout dvd to get is the one by Jillian Michaels who is one of the trainers on the Biggest Loser. If you don't change your diet and start exercising, you will NOT lose weight..now, THAT is a fact!
Good luck!
